Master's degrees require a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $50 for U.S. residents and $70 for international applicants. Applicants requesting to change term of entry to a future term, within the year, may request this change one time without submitting a new application fee.

A $50 late fee is assessed for tuition payments made after the deadline.

Courses may be subject to proctoring exams up to $75 plus late fees.

Dropping a Course While Remaining Enrolled in Other Courses

A student dropping a course or courses yet remaining enrolled in the University for at least one course on or before specified date may be subject to a 100% refund of applicable tuition and fees according to the schedule.

Withdrawing from All Courses for the Term

A student officially and completely withdrawing from the University during the semester may be subject to a refund of applicable tuition and fees according to the schedule.

A review of accounts is done at the conclusion of the withdrawal refund period to insure proper payment of tuition and fees. Refunds will be processed after each audit. Withdrawals are calculated based on the total tuition and fees, not the amount paid. Refunds are available in three forms: direct deposit, paper check or BankMobile Vibe account. **MBA Transfer Credit Policy - A student may transfer up to 9 semester hours of graduate credit [advanced courses only] from another AACSB university with the permission of the Director of Master's Programs, if it is determined appropriate to the degree being sought. Graduate coursework transferred from other regionally accredited institutions of higher education prior to acceptance cannot be older than seven years at the time the master's degree is awarded. Credit to be earned at other institutions after acceptance in the graduate program must be taken at an AACSB accredited program and approved in advance. Approval is granted at the discretion of the Director of Master's Programs.

In the information age, organizations can and do collect massive amounts of data. Yet organizations are often “data rich” but “information and knowledge poor.” This course is designed to prepare business professions who, by using analytical methods and data mining and data visualizations tools, will be able to harness the potential of data by extracting business intelligence that can be used to improve decisions and operations at various points in the value chain.

This course provides an understanding of the role of information systems in businesses today. The focus of the course will be on management issues related to information systems. Major topics that will be covered include e-commerce, data management, networks, and management information systems. Student Must take MISY 5360 or MISY 5350.

  • Create a detailed e-commerce plan which integrates marketing, financial, management, and technological aspects
  • Evaluate the usefulness of technologies in businesses today and their importance in driving business profitability
  • Research in detail one specific technology and evaluate its impact on business and industry

This course introduces students to the fundamental techniques used in the development and programming of software applications. This course is designed for students who have little or no previous computer programming experience. This course will use a scripting and/or visual development programming language. Topics covered include (but are not limited to) problem solving, algorithms, data types, expressions, control structures, functions, and GUIs (graphical user interfaces).

  • Demonstrate the basic techniques used to create programming scripts

This course introduces students to the cutting edge social media tools necessary to perform effectively as marketing professionals. Topic coverage includes the understanding of social media unique structure, emerging segmentation and positioning practices, as well as evaluation and implementation of a social media marketing strategy.

  • Understand how to effectively target, track, and reach social consumers.
  • Be able to identify and handle unique dynamics of social media interactions, in order to enable the development of an effective social media marketing strategy.
  • Know how to develop a social media marketing strategy and integrate it with elements of marketing mix.

A study of the environment within which a firm operating outside the U.S. considers the political, social, and economic variables that impact marketing decisions. Prerequisites: MKTG 5311 or permission of instructor.
