Be grateful for the high-quality education you are receiving and never stop learning!

Grit, high emotional intelligence, self-control, vision and being brave.

  • Why did you start teaching?

I have always been fascinated by the idea of teaching, having been raised by parents who are educators. Research is the ultimate way to express my academic creativity and my ideas. Teaching is a special experience that involves inspiring interactions. My goal as a teacher is to create an interesting, yet challenging, learning environment that will be memorable for my students through work imbued with my passion for economics.

My teaching experience began as a graduate student instructor at The University of Texas at Austin, where I designed and taught my own courses while I was pursuing a Ph.D. degree. Only two students were chosen for this task out of 140 economics graduate students.

I believe that the role of an educator is to help students explore the relationship between theory and practice, or what many call the "real world." I rely on research-based teaching, instructive technology and experiential learning in order to achieve this teaching goal. I love teaching!
