What's the value of an MBA for today's professionals?
An MBA prepares managers who can effectively lead an organization to achieve goals with minimum waste of resources and efforts. Regardless of the functional area of an organization where a manager might be primarily responsible, an MBA makes sure that the manager can see the value and importance of coordination and integration of efforts throughout the enterprise and beyond. Information systems and data analytics play important roles in making sure the organization functions as an informed and connected system of systems that can learn as it functions.

What qualities make someone particularly successful in business or management?
For data analytics, knowledge of statistical methods and database management can be very helpful. Personal qualities that can make someone successful in business or management include pragmatism, being goal-driven and being decisive yet open to revise decisions in light of new intelligence gathered through monitoring systems.

Learning opportunities are omnipresent.
